In 2015 I invited fifteen editors and photographers from the endemic skateboarding media to join the Levi’s Skateboarding team to participate in the completion two Levi’s-funded skatepark projects on the Oglala Sioux Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
The short film linked below captures the heart of what these skateparks mean to the youth on the reservation. Subsequent press from each of the participating outlets led to more than five million media impressions.
