In Fall of 2019, The North Face launched its biggest innovation in over 20 years, challenging GORE-TEX as the lightest, most breathable and durable fabric ever made. As proof of concept, we sent two of our global athletes to be the first in human history to climb Lhotse, the fourth highest mountain in the world, and descend on skis.
